Swish Queries

Connect terms with AND, OR, and NOT (default is AND, e.g. "DNA matrix plot" == "DNA AND matrix AND plot"). Use double quotes for phrase search. Use * for wildcard search (e.g. "doubl*" matches "double", "doublet", etc.) Group with parentheses. Searchable metanames are: swishdefault (refers to text in paper), title, authors, journal, year, pmid, website, website2, and grant. See the Swish Documentation for more information about making Swish queries.

Here are some example Swish queries that should give you the idea and get you started:

#Show all papers from 2001 with the word microarray in them
year=(2001) AND swishdefault=(microarray)

#Show all papers from journals with name science or nature
#on the cegs grant and with words sequence or alignment
journal=(science OR nature) AND grant=(cegs) AND swishdefault=(sequence OR alignment)

#You can also simply enter a list of words to find in a paper:
microarray yeast protein
